This month, we have a Good for Others cause that is near and dear to our hearts, here at Rooted for Good!
The Love Joy and Hope Foundation is privileged to make a difference in the lives of marginalized and abandoned children who have faced unimaginable trauma, abuse, and neglect. The foundation provides a home-like environment, run with love and care by Lenny and Nadia, where these children can heal, grow, and thrive. By the grace of God, they have been able to create a nurturing space where children can receive education, holistic development, and most importantly, love and acceptance.
The children come with diverse backgrounds and challenges. Some, like Saru, have had no prior education, suffered from malnutrition, and faced numerous obstacles. However, with Nadia's dedicated teaching and care, Saru was able to catch up on her education and was eventually admitted to an English medium school. By God's grace and through the generosity of supporters, Saru's transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. From a child who once feared judgment and rejection, Saru has blossomed into a confident topper in her school, winning inter-school competitions and aspiring to become a professor in college. Her story is a testament to the power of love, care, and education in transforming lives.
This is not an isolated story; many children at the foundation have undergone similar transformations. With the support of generous donors, Lenny and Nadia have been able to provide these children with the opportunities they deserve to succeed. Their home is more than just a place of residence; it is a sanctuary where children can heal, learn, and grow in a safe and loving environment.
However, the work doesn't stop at their home. Love Joy and Hope Foundation also reaches out to children on the streets, trying to remove them from the cycle of begging and exploitation. They create awareness about the better life that awaits these children if they choose to seek help, supporting them every step of the way. By the grace of God, some children have been rescued from the streets and provided with education and care. Educational support is also provided for children who cannot afford fees, as well as sponsoring medical bills for those in need. Yet, due to limited funds, many children are unable to be helped.
Lenny and Nadia desire to start a Girls' Home, and have already submitted their application. They pray for the Lord to send generous people to help them in their financial need to set up the home with all the necessary appliances and to meet the needs of the children. By God's grace and through the kindness of our supporters, they are confident that they can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many more children.
